New UEFA Ranking
UEFA recently changed their ranking procedure to be used for ranking teams at European Championship finals and qualifying tournaments. Please see the references below for how these rankings are calculated.

2011 Version
This ranking will be used to determine the seedings for the 2012 European Championship competition. Note that this is an intermediate ranking. It will only be final once the qualifying tournament for the 2012 European Championship is complete.

** Poland and Ukraine will be seeded in pot 1 no matter where they finish in the final ranking as they are the hosts. Spain will also be seeded in pot 1 if they qualify.
